Life-long animal lover, Lexie Ledyard, started dog and house sitting as a side hustle shortly after moving to Steamboat from the ranch she was working on in southern Colorado. Throughout her life, Lexie has fostered many animals from local shelters, volunteered, and interned with small animal and equine vets.

After countless wonderful experiences, building lasting relationships with locals, and seeing the great need for such a personalized service, Lexie created Powder Paws to add more value within the Steamboat community.
