Life-long animal lover and former wrangler, Lexie Ledyard, found herself in Steamboat springs after working on a ranch in southern Colorado. she soon realized the dire need for professional pet care in steamboat, thus Powder paws was born. aside from caring for her own pets since childhood, Lexie has always worked with animals, horses in particular. Outside of work, she spent years fostering animals from local shelters, volunteering, and interning with small animal and equine vets.
